Need to resize images on your RoR app?

The common mortal will probably use ImageMagick along with RMagick. But ImageMagick is definitely an overkill considering that you just want to resize images and RMagick is a PITA to install and it’s buggy.
So, for the sake of all of you out there crying out loud, there’s ImageScience. It’s a gem, so installation is really easy, and it only depends on FreeImage, a library dedicated only to resizing images. It’s darn fast and stable.
I’m not looking back!
