Considering the recent analysis of CSS support on IE 7, I’d say that if Microsoft was to be a nice company they’d simply drop the trash that’s Internet Explorer, use Gecko or adopt Firefox and support its development.
Since it’s not a nice company they’re making sure web developers waste hours and hours writing hacks and duplicate CSS files to make sure websites work correctly on IE.
