Are we done?

I’m absolutely exhausted of seeing blog posts just reporting news without adding any personal taste to them.
Damn, blogs are cool because they portray (or at least should) people’s opinion. Otherwise I’d just go and read cnn.com or publico.pt.
I should just renew my feed list…

O meu último post é-te dedicado. :)
Which one, the one about nerds?
Exactly. Read it ’til the end.
I really dont agree with what you’re saying!
I started coding my web page just for fun so i could have a web presence. Since i started adding information on subjects other then myself, i started calling it a SITE! :o)
Most people call my SITE a blog because, sometimes, i leave information about myself…but my main interest was to keep track of interesting news / sites!
That’s the reason i add a lot of news without commenting on them (simply copy / paste + credits) ;o)

Luis,
It’s your blog, therefore, you write whatever you want to.
But definitely seeing a personal touch on blogs is a good thing, IMHO. That’s how they get to my feed reader, at least!
I feel the same way…
I’ve actually been leaving my blog somewhat “slow” because I’ve been having no time for writing a decent (at least for me!:p) opinion article on some of the (many) things I read about, be it news or other people’s opinions!
Oh well… I’ll just make more time to write more stuff… after I get to the US (flying next Thursday… uh uh)
And definitely, this is one of the reasons I follow your blog closely! ;) hehe
Quoting Chris’ Pirillo blog cartoon (which came to my attention to be a “official” bloggers cartoon): “Sure, I have something insightfull and thought-provoking to write about now… but what about tomorrow?”. (http://blaugh.com/)
Don’t you agree?? :)
Damn you all! We are not reporters. :o)
It really depends on what you want your web presence to be.
For me, the main objective is to keep track of good / interesting things!
Hugs,
Luí
Luís,
You’re free to write whatever pleases you. It’s your blog.
But blogs were born to support personal creativity and I think I miss those times where people would probably add a personal touch to the news, rambling, whatever.
