AAPL went down

It seems I was right. AAPL went down to below $117 as of yesterday which makes it a good buy and, as I had previously planned, would give me some extra bucks.

Right now, I’d highly recommend you NOT to short on AAPL. Apple is here for the long-term when the iPhone becomes an iPod-alike success (I’d say in 2 years), the Mac hardware unit continues selling more and more. Also, there’s the server business that shows no signs of slowing down (actually, everyone from HP to Apple is taking a piece of the cake from Dell) and all the software being produced is adding the cream on the top of the cake. Apple is buying another significant piece of land in Cupertino and there’s some forecasts that the company will employ up to 2000 more employees in the next 5 years.

I’d say Apple and Google are the Microsoft of the next ten years. Microsoft, fix your chairs to the ground as your monopoly will finally be over in the next upcoming years.

I’m not familiar with all the stocks from the american stock market, but I think this crisis is the financial business is affecting all stock with no exceptions!
So the AAPL went down because everything went down and not because of the iPhone/AT&T agreement, as you predicted… You are a lucky guy :)

Like the old saying in Portugal:
“Cada um… tem aquilo que merece”

    Cheers

You have a point there Pedro, but companies having a huge valuation with 30x the revenues are more subject to this short-term volatility!

C’mon Carlos, AAPL is too overpriced for not being a proxy to the market fluctuations and everyone has been expecting a decline in the market for at least one year.

Anyway, good opportunity to buy the stock shares back again ;-)
