Track comments with Bloppy - Wordpress plugin

I’ve just finished coding the ‘Track Comments with Bloppy’ Wordpress (>= 2.0) plugin. For the time being I’ll leave it as a private beta (ie, for me) so I can track possible bugs. The plugin is running on Personal Bytes and Tecnologia de Desinformação. If you notice any quirks or bugs please let me know.
Why use this plugin instead of others like ‘Subscribe to Comments’?
Well, for some of the following reasons:
- Your host has blocked outgoing emails so you’re unable to notify your users of new comments;
- You want to allow your users to manage their subscriptions on a single point, ie, Bloppy
- You want to leverage the work on your side and leave it to others to do it for you
- You want to support the Bloppy project, which is a cool thing to do if you ask me :-)
Finally, huge kudos to the author of Subscribe to Comments since this plugin was heavily (a lot, really) based on Mark Jaquith’s plugin. If you want to do a PayPal donation use his account, not mine.
