Refactoring Ruby

Ruby is one step closer to becoming mainstream on the enterprise. I’ve pointed before several things keeping Ruby away from the corporate users but things are starting to change. And, most surprisingly, the Java world is giving a hand!

Reading the title you already know what I’m talking about. There’s finally a refactoring tool for Ruby. What you might not know (I’d never guess — and if you ever thought of that you should start playing fortune games) is that it’s actually a plugin for Netbeans (yes, the Java IDE). Moreover, Netbeans, thanks to the wonderful work of Tor Norbye, a Sun engineer, now supports Ruby.

Who would predict that?
