Busting myths

One of the most famous myths you hear from the pundits that don’t have the smallest clue is that Microsoft helped somehow reviving Apple from near bankruptcy in the early 90’s.
Microsoft did buy $150 million dollars worth of Apple’s stock shares but the it was probably more beneficial to Microsoft than to Apple, who had $1.2 billion in cash, $4 billion in equity.

Bottom line, Apple was not saved by Microsoft. Nothing comes remotely close to that.
