Steve Jobs: Let’s end DRM

On an outrageous attempt to end DRM (and allow iTunes music to be played somewhere else other than the iPod) Steve Jobs wrote a letter asking the music industry to drop down something that’s defective by design: the DRM. It doesn’t work and it won’t work.

Get this: piracy will end [lower to reasonable levels] when prices are affordable. I don’t mind paying $.99 for a song. Not at all. But I do mind paying $20 for a CD full of crap that contains only one cool music.

Boy, isn’t this guy hot or not? Steve’s up!
