Twitter — tell what you’re doing

twitter.png

Twitter, a project started by Obvious Corp (the ones that created Blogger and Odeo) allows one to tell the world what he’s doing on that moment.

It’s not a major breakthrough but definitely funny. Also, the people behind the project are really great guys. I’ve been talking with Blaine (which is also the author of Jabber::Simple) and he’s a great Canadian guy. Kudos to him :-)

Give it a try!

Obvious didn’t create Blogger, Pyra Labs did. And they all moved to Google.

Evan Williams started working on Pyra Labs. He was then hired by Google when Blogger was bought and then he formed Obvious Corp along with Biz Stone.

I know (Evan *owned* Pyra)… but again, Obvious didn’t create Blogger. :-)
And if we want to be precise, neither did Obvious created Twitter… it was created at Odeo. Then Odeo spinned into Obvious Corp.
