This being true (first reference from Pedro Figueiredo, second from digg) then it’s definitely time to boycott Windows Vista.
Do not buy, upgrade or anything else. Consider alternatives like Mac OS X or Linux. Unfortunately and according to the author, if such thing makes its way than it doesn’t matter what operative system you ought to be using, it will affect everyone.

e porquê comprar ou fazer actualização?? o XP funciona e o desinVista não apresenta funcionalidades válidas, aka inovações, para o utilizador!
Escrevo estas linhas porque, e trabalhando num grande operador de telecomunicações do país, só este ano deixei de usar o NT a favor do XP e todo o trabalhinho de escritório se fez de forma correcta e eficiente até esse momento!
Assim, é melhor continuar com a versão utilizada do MSWindows ou então evoluir para outra plataforma… digo eu
Try Ubuntu Linux with Beryl Desktop manager, it makes vista look like the pile of dog-doo it truly is, it doesn’t require a high end PC, does all the “areo-glass” stuff and ALOT more, and it Free.
