This Christmas

… I gave you my heart. No, wait.
I’ll try focusing on lecture since it’s one of my favorite hobbies. Related to technology here are the books I’d love owning
• AspectJ in Action: Practical Aspect-Oriented Programming
• Extreme Programming Pocket Guide
• Refactoring: Improving the Design of Existing Code
• Building Scalable Web Sites: Building, Scaling, and Optimizing the Next Generation of Web Applications
• Linux Kernel Development
I’m also taking a stare look at books related to Cocoa programming and Perl. Kudos to Carlos Andrade for showing me that Perl is not only a language for easily obfuscating code but rather a tool to save some time.
As for non-technical books I’m looking forward to own a copy of Freakonomics and the latest book from the well-known marketeer Carlos Coelho (I don’t remember the name of the book. Help is appreciated!) that provides a bold view of portuguese achievements, sometimes disregarded by their own.
If you’re feeling like giving take a look at my Amazon’s wishlist :-)
Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas to you all!
P.S. - Present to self. A black MacBook :-)
P.S.2 - First post with Ecto! :-)
