Vanished myths about MacBook

There were some myths (some were true, the others were just a bunch of random facts ensembling a myth) about the MacBook that should be vanished. I believe I’m in such position for doing so because despite the fact of not owning one (yet ;-) my girlfriend has bought one. The acquisition was one month ago and since then I’ve had time to witness and also experiment.

First myth: the MacBook IS A laptop. At least if we consider the definition regarding laptop that says that you can easily put it on your lap [without burning your legs]. So, unless I have some heat resistent legs I can easily stand the burden. No burden at all, it’s really pleasant to have a MacBook just in front of us :-)

Second myth: Random shutdowns. I believe this have happened to a lot of people but it’s not happening right now. At least if you’ve made the proper firmware updates. My girlfriend hasn’t reported any random shutdowns at all. She must be lucky.

Third myth: The laptop gets easily dirty. Considering the same perspective given in 2), we must have such a shiny hands that it’s still in a mint condition.

Finally, there’s a huge difference between Apple’s laptops and the rest. Whenever you unbox its case you’ll suddenly notice. You’ll also notice the parfum that comes out of it. It’s such a glaringly great experience…
