Opera vs Firefox

Each time a new version of Firefox or Opera emerges, there’s a lot of noise about the ever eternal debate Opera vs Firefox. Personally, I think it’s such a waste of time arguing on that matter. I don’t see where’s the qualm. Both are excellent browsers, standard compliant and provide a lot of features, being native or through extensions.
The point of rupture is the license. I suggest using Firefox if you really praise the Free Software and what it stands for. On the other hand, it you don’t care, Opera’s an option too.
