Oddly enough, since Thunderbird uses the mbox as the default format for saving the emails, it doesn’t include an easy way of importing/exporting mbox files.
But one of the coolest things about Thunderbird are the extensions. And so it is, here’s a powerful yet simple to use extension to import and export mbox files.
