Lightning?

I’ve recently complained about the lack of good calendaring applications. It seems that one day after my complaints, Mozilla released a pre-release of what’s called Lightning. Basically, they’re still deciding which name to use. Mozilla Calendar, Sunbird and now Lightning.
Anyway, it integrates with an email client (Mozilla Thunderbird) like most calendaring applications do (Outlook or Evolution for instance). I tried testing it but unfortunately it keeps crashing after subscribing to a WebDAV iCal calendar. I’ll wait for better days (it’s still on version 0.1).
In the meanwhile, Chandler got my attention. It seems to be a very promising and multi-plataform (and yes, Free Software ;-) calendaring application.
I’ll track these goodies.
