Ubuntu Hoary’s default kernel mem ceiled

Ubuntu Hoary’s default kernel, optimized for general i386 CPUs, is ceiled to 1GB RAM (actually it’s 906660K which doesn’t sum up to 1GB). In order to avoid this issue you should install a kernel optimized for your CPU, compile it yourself or install the highmem patch.

Personally, I find it easier to do apt-get install linux-k7.
