Petition to Google!

A lot of people have been appealing lately for Google to return more to the GNU/Linux community and I couldn’t agree more.
Google, in my humble opinion, is an amazing company that turns inventions into innovations. Pick anything around the web and Google will turn it into money and generate a hype around it. This is what they’ve been doing. AJAX (XMLHttpRequest) existed a long time ago and no one cared. Google turned into a revenue for many and many companies. Invention lead to Innovation. Period.
Their support around Free/Open Software is also notable and people reward it somehow. At least, they have earn mine and others credibility. I hardly know someone that does not like or admire Google. They deserve it!
Along their history as an IT company, they owe a lot to GNU/Linux, that is undeniable. And now should be the time to return the favours back. Start porting your applications to GNU/Linux and your admirers userbase will grow even further.
Google, we’re counting on you! Thanks.
