Mono: To be or not to be?

I’ve never liked Mono. At all. Why? Because it has something to do with Microsoft. Is it a bad thing? Of course.
And Microsoft doesn’t like Mono either. And for those who don’t believe it take a look here. Microsoft denied the Mono project team to attend to the PDC in Los Angeles.
Any doubts left? Not at all. Microsoft and Interoperability don’t rhyme. Point.
P.S. - Yes, I’m quite angry. A lot of people have been working hard on Mono and doing some nice applications (like Banshee or iFolder) and this just proves the thesis that the dependency with Microsoft will kill Mono. It’s a question of time, unfortunately.
