Novell iFolder 3.0 - again!
- Published September 11th, 2005 in Free Software
Today I’ve read an article from Celso Pinto talking about his recent experience with Novell iFolder 3. For those who follow my website, I did something similiar some weeks ago.
It’s been almost two months now since I deployed Novell iFolder 3.0 on a Ubuntu Hoary server and everything is running smoothly. SimpleServer has never crashed, neither did Ubuntu.
I have several clients installed on Mac OS X, GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.3) and Windows (XP SP2) and I never had any glitch. Just Works!
Here’s a quick debrief about what’s Novell iFolder: it’s a centralized way of synchronizing your files. It keeps them on a main server and the clients connect to it to “checkout” or to add/delete files. Great when you work on several machines.
